At home care
THERAPY TOOLS
You’ll need the following three therapy tools for self care at home, for a Release & Realign yoga class, and/ or for a Zoom physical therapy appointment.
You can purchase these tools at in person physical therapy sessions and workshops, or via the links* below.

3 Foot Foam Roller
Foam Roller: THE essential self care tool.
Choosing the right density is so important. You want a density firm enough to change the tissues, gentle enough that your body doesn’t tighten in response. Using a roller should “hurt good”.
Softie: if you are slender, a bit fragile, and/or dislike deep massage
Medium: more firm pressure than softie, but not too hard. Goldilocks!
Medium Hard: a bit firmer, definitely with some give but more forgiving than hard
Hard: if you enjoy very deep tissue and intense massage
Soft Plastic Balls
Two ball set combines some of the therapy features of a medium density foam roller with the versatility and portability of a ball.
Buy Franklin Balls (pictured above) or Miracle Balls. Either works.
Balanced Body Ball: The single soft ball pictured above, just a bit firmer, slightly smaller than Franklin or Miracle. Less expensive!
Double Tennis Balls
Make your own therapy tool with two tennis balls and some tape. See the video above for instructions. While you’re at it, wrap two pair for useful techniques and travel. If you don’t want to do it yourself, visit in person and you can purchase a mesh bag that holds the tennis balls together.
